Re: Juniper oddity

Now Junny is very trigger-happy. most definitely agree with that.  One of the reasons I closed my most recent accounts.  Haven't really heard of anything liek this in the neighborhood of MVs scores though.  As long as he doesn't get app-happy, probably be fine.

Now, the thought of MV getting app-happy is hard to grasp! Although maybe a couple more snowstorms and the caucuses might tip him over the edge.

MV: With 800 ficos, why are you both getting Juny?!!!!

Especially since they are notorious for pulling 3 hards?

I would go for the 800 elite cards -- Merrill+ offers 50k CL for 800 fico!

They pulled 1 hard on me for mine, and soft me every couple of months, all on TU.

And I get cards because they are the specific cards I want - the mostconvienient local gas station is Caseys - they are Juniper, so I get Juniper.

We shop at Barnes and Noble (no Borders Books for 120 miles) and they are Juniper.

They did feel obligated to lower my limit right when I did a balance transfer...because of inquiries (4 from them alone)...so I don't really have anything positive to say about them right now.

Now that IS a bit much, for a creditor to b*tch about excessive inquiries when they put them there! Smiley Tongue

I have no clue what they were doing. I've been trying to get those merged or deleted but you know how TU is about actually doing that. They can do everything else right but inquiries...

I know I asked them if they would consider raising the limit when that chargeoff came off because it was supposed to be off before they pulled my report.

No clue at all on the other pulls. Merrick and BOA also have 4 on me now. Hooters screwed up on the limit increase and BOA for my business card.

No I won't, and I will miss the Caucus - I will be in Omaha that night, and there is no absentee caucussing  Smiley Very Happy

Gosh, what a shame --you'll miss the last frantic door-knocking and telephone-ringing.

BTW, the John Rutter/ Cambridge Singers version of "In the Deep Midwinter" is on the new stereo system right now --makes me think of those 8" of snow...

We have 3" of dead leaves that need raking --does that count for anything?

Re: Juniper oddity

hey that sounds weird. Do you think it was denied. I don't understand that.
I remember once in 1992 when I stated self employment i was approved for american express however they told me to submit my financial information before I acutally got the card.  So maybe that is what they need to do....curious let me know what happened.......

Juniper gave me 3 hards for one credit app! Smiley Mad

I have written them twice and they keep saying that they didn't report that to TU.  Now what do I do??!

Update on Juniper oddity

DW got approved today.  First problem - my Caseys card uses cokkies so I have to clear them to get to DWs account.

Second Problem - her CL is $15,000.
