Was declined Zync due to experian score being supposedly too low. 667 when my classic exp fico is around 730. I reconned, sent in my 757 TU fico from myfico.com and they approved. I want the gold delta card. would I be pushing my luck if I just got approved today? Original app was December 1st.
I would wait 6 months or so.... you will propably be denied again and will have to go though the reconn again. after history with them the approvals should be smoother
True, but I don't think it would hurt me to try. If I apply, do I do the already have a card with amex application rather than the new application?

Of course you can try but at best its going to be another hard inquiry and at worst the system will cancel your app due to the fact that your last decison was a denial.

Well I don't plan on applying for any other credit cards in the near future that pull experian so I don't mind the inquiry. But the computer system won't recognize it was manually updated to approved through recon?
Call in and app with a CSR....that way, you can explain everything to them and recon on the spot.

I`m sure the system is still aware that that the automated decision was a denial, I do not think it makes a difference that a credit analyst manually reviewed your application and decided to give you an approval. Another app (especially for a credit product) will use the exact same algoryms but likely with much higher requirements so you should expect to have to recon again. I`d probably wait 6 months.
You guys have been great. I'm applying anyway, but this time I don't feel bad if I'm denied
Will update about my denial later after I call ![]()
They say, there is nothing more dangerous than a man who already knows he's dead right? haha
I can't wait for the American Express/Delta exclusivity deal to end soon, that way Delta can also partner with a MasterCard or Visa issuer for a Delta SkyMiles World MasterCard or Visa Signature.
