Re: Kay Jewelers Data Points

Sorry, my scores are in my sig but I forget that's not visible on mobile devices. They are not good, 597-618. No, I wasn't trying to but buy anything by I did have an expensive ring in my cart at the time. Some of the CO's are paid, some are paid but not yet reporting, and 2 are unpaid. All are 6 years plus in age.

Regarding large limits, to someone like me who's starting over and whose current largest limit is $800, anything $2,500 and up is a large limit. To people who are established, I realize that's a sad limit. But is seen online, I dint to think it was here, that people were getting upwards of $15k-$20k. Seemed like it worked better at the actual store when you are about to make a big purchase. Decent credit probably helps too. A company named Sterling pulled my EQ report. I think they also own Jared and maybe others.

Re: Kay Jewelers Data Points

I hate that "blame errors on auto correct" signature but apparently I'm going to have to add it to mine. Excuse the typos.

Re: Kay Jewelers Data Points

hahaha that's why i have it. for some reason this site doesn't auto correct if you mess up your last word and hit post before hitting the space bar.

Re: Kay Jewelers Data Points

It only bothers me because my mobile view always makes it seem like it's part of the post so I always end up reading it about half way before realizing it's the signature Smiley Happy

Re: Kay Jewelers Data Points

I applied in store and was approved for $8,000.00 with 20% down or $6,000.00 with zero down. At the time my scores were in the 635-650 range across all 3. I had no baddies on my report and had opened a bunch of new accounts. The only way to get an increase on this card is after 10 months in store as well. I am currently eligible for a CLI but have not gone in to request it. Will update once i do.

Starting Score: MyFico EQ: 499, EX: 535, TU: 534 Dated: 1/16/2015
Current Score: MyFico EQ: 650, EX: 669, TU: 675 Dated: 5/11/2015
Goal Score: 700+
