I just got a Jared CC with limit of $5100. Will this help with my UTI? When I applied I realized I apped for the wrong one. So I applied for Kay's. approved again for $5100. Question. Is this the same card? It shows different account numbers & they pulled two HP. Ex & EQ. I've heard something about them being the same card? 1 limit u can use at both stores?? Kinda hoping its two cards with $5100 limit on each.
It looks like both cards are underwritten by sterling bank, but on the website it says kay can be used at kay stores and kay.com and jared can be used at jared stores and jared.com
Nothing about them being used at the other stores.
Well, of course it will help utilization (assuming that at least one reports!) You now have more credit. Whether other store cards will follow suit is less clear. Each tends to evaluate it's own risk. Here you have more outstanding credit, so unless you are using a store card very heavily, they may not see a need to extend you more. I think some people here believe that if you get a new store card, THAT might have a high CL to "match" your existing ones.
