Hello fellow forum members!
After finding out on my Kohl’s statement that I’m only $50 from Most Valued Customer status (which I should easily spend organically between now and December), I have a couple questions about the program.
First, is this lifetime MVC status or just for 1 year?
In your opinion, are the 6 additional deals worth it for you?
Lastly, they still reissue a new card once you hit status, correct?
I tried searching online and on the forums but everything was incredibly vague and dated.
Thanks for your input!
I recently received a new Kohl's card in the mail saying I was upgraded to MVC status. I honestly have no idea what the advantage is, other than it said you get a few additional coupons?
They did issue a new card with different design.
I'm not sure what you mean by is it worth it? I think it happens automatically, so you don't have a choice.
I was "upgraded" to MVC status too, 'twas well over a year ago and they haven't down graded it.
In my honest opinion; like Victoria's Secret & Buckle, these different "statuses or perhaps it's stati" lol, are just a gimmick to get one to spend more money. They have a few perks but it seems more like a way to encourage spending one would otherwise not do.
Oh my, there's so much wrong with the above- my English Professor is having a seizure.
At this point; if I receive these upgraded cards, it's organically and I don't spend anything just to get upgraded.
Thank you for your responses!
From what I gather from y’all:
MVC status is basically nothing special, just a few coupons and a shiny new card
And this seems to be lifetime MVC status once status is actually reached.
I was honestly hoping MVC status came with free shipping or even $5 bonuses (like Stage’s reward program). Oh well, much ado about nothing.
