Kohl's back door number

Does anyone know Kohl's back door number and if it's a hard pull if you request a CLI?

I don't know a back door number but yes it IS a HP if you request a CLI. They say they review accounts from time to time and if eligible, they will offer you a CLI and in that case it's a soft pull, but if you request it, it's a HP. I've been sitting at a $200 CL for 2 years now Smiley Frustrated

Yep it really does :-(

I called a few times requesting a CLI (in an attempt to help lower my util) and was told it would be a HP each time. You can search the forum and see if others have had any success but from what all I have read, Kohl's is tough at giving automatic CLI's, without HP'ing your credit. Best of luck to you though, let me know if you have any success, I would LOVE to get an increase!

Re: Kohl's back door number

I've had the same $300 CL with Kohls since January 2009, back when they were backed by Chase I called asking about a CLI, they said it'd be a HP so I told them to just leave it. Same experience since they were taken over by Cap 1.  So I have no intentions of even asking again. The $300 is enough for what I use it for so I've kept it since it gives decent discounts.

Same here. If it weren't for all the great discounts, I probably wouldn't keep my card. I could spend $200 there on 3 pairs of jeans and be at my limit if it weren't for the discounts lol. I also like the fact that they stack coupons so if you play your cards right, you could walk out spending close to nothing sometimes!

I do agree that they should have some kind of incentive program to where if you've been a customer for a while they should allow you once a year to request a CLI without having to do a HP, I'd even be ok with a soft pull.

I've seen others here on the board that have been with Kohl's forever and still have like us, really low CL's.
