Yeah, I got my first email about it about a month ago, and then another one yesterday. Does this mean that CapOne is completely discontinuing the Kohl's store only card and transitioning everyone to a Visa card?
The card in the picture is the one I have, a cobranded Kohls/Visa card. A coupe of times merchants handed it back to me thinking it was strictly for Kohls but I told them its a Visa card.

Assuming you were one of the ones upgraded to Visa last year (?).
QUESTION:
If your CL was bumped up above $3k as a result of the product change, when exactly did they increase it?
Was it at the time they notified you that your card would change, or in September when the actual change took effect?
There are other threads on here about this spanning back almost 2 years.
They are doing it in phases, but I have no idea if they are converting ALL account holders to the Visa version (eventually?), or if it's only credit worthy account holders, and if this round is the last round or not.
(Last year was the first round.)

All credit card issuers, keep account holders in the dark, web page info different from what CSR's say,
different info on different web pages, etc.
No advantage for them to let info out, this let's them change anything they want on the fly.
They probably are still arguing about what they want to do.
You will know when it is your turn.

To clarify, I was trying to offer info based on what I know, which isn't much.
I did get a communication from C1 that my card will be converted to the Visa card on September 16th.

Always good to share, I thought you were looking for time lines, and info that is almost never given.
Yes we actually shop at Kohl's a lot. I received notification a few months ago that they were upgrading my account from MVC Card to the Kohl's Visa Card in September. My CL is already at the maximum for the store card but I'm assuming that a CLI will follow upon issuance.

What's interesting for me, is that I've been told for years that the max credit limit you can have for the Kohl's Store Card is $3000.
However, about 2 months ago C1 raised my limit to $3500, and that was before they ever notified me of the conversion to Visa.
So I keep wondering if the limit raise is because of the conversion to Visa, or did they raise the threshold(?).
(I do realize that others have received substantial increases in CL for the Visa version of the card, far and above $3k, but just wondering about the threshold of the store card currently.)
I keep waiting to read from anyone else who may have recently gotten a limit increase (on the store card version) that takes them over $3k.
