LOCATION OF ALLIANT CREDIT UNION

Hi everyone, I live in the MA area, and I would like to join this credit union I am wondering if anyone knows if there is one around my area.  Thanks for any information.

I believe their only physical locations are in Iowa but that there isn't a residency requirement.

There is an Alliant Credit Union in Iowa, but that's not the one everyone here is talking about. The Alliant CU with the good rates for savings accounts and a relatively painless credit card application process has its headquarters in Chicago, Illinois, plus a few more branches in other states. Its basis is the former United Airlines Credit Union, fused with some other CU.

Hi, everyone, with the credit union being in IL, will I be able to open an on-line savings account while living in MA, when I looked on the website, it seems kind of restrictive and also looking for a credit score.  My EQ credit score is 695 with 1 unpaid collection $495.00 and one CO $0 balance.  Thanks everyone.

You can become an Alliant member by joining the PTA. This can be a local or state one, which might be a cheaper possibility. Or you join the national PTA, which costs $25.

The website shows associated CU that you can go to. There are about 30 where I live that are not Alliant,but are called credit union centers. I can use their atm for no fee and also make a deposit. You enter the state where you live in the search and it will show you where they are located.
