If you actually shop there, it's a great card. Combine it with the rewards membership, and you basically have a 5% cards when shopping.

I haven't seen a lot of recent data points, but there's reason to believe that while you'll get the card his SCT, it may or may not be a hard pull.

When I applied about two years ago, my approval was a soft pull. A few others applied around the same time and got a hard pull.

I've been looking at some items they have at some very competitive prices, comparing them to other retailers.
With the membership, they would definitely beat what products I've been looking at !

I've not had any hard inquires in 14 months, no pulls at all.
The cards listed in my profile are the only ones I've applied for after getting back in.. lucky, I got all with no rejections and they've aged now.
I'd pull the trigger on S. G., if I thought I could do it W/O a hardpull, who knows though ? I've never tried a " SCT ", before !
