Looking for CC that will pull EQ

Thank Cheddar, do you know of anyone that would be willing to give me a card with a good cl (who pulls EQ) with a 658 score?

Many CUs pull EQ, and you may find a local CU that will give you a card with that score. That's the first place I would look.

If you are eligible, NFCU will probably give you a good CL with that EQ score.

If you aren't eligible, you could try PenFed or any of the other national credit unions. They tend to be a bit more lenient with issuing criteria.

I'd agree to try a CU, but not PenFed. I really doubt they'll approve with that score. They like 700s.

Yes, you'll need a bona fide Department of Defense connection to join NFCU.

What kind of scores does NFCU look for?

Hubby's been DoD for the past 7 years ... I don't suppose that would give us an edge of any sort with scores in the high 500s (with recent lates on car note and SL)???
