Nice Congrats!...I met my csp bonus within a month lol wife likes to shop but i already paid it off...but in the last 2 1/2 months i had cards that needed spending bonuses like 2,000 for marriott ( met the spending but have a 1,000 balance) hyatt met the spending have a 200 balance) chase united which i had for 1 month also (Met 3,000 spending and have a 0 balance just used that one for my buisness expense)...so keep on spending but in a good way lol...and also i use csp everyday ecen after bonus
Honestly though, would any of you actually spent that amount of money if you weren't needing to meet a spend threshhold? I just can't seem to see myself spending 4k in that short a period. Are there some ways of using credit cards that I'm not familiar with? Please do tell. And, if this is not the appropriate place to discuss that....move it along to where it is appropriate please. Thanks

when I was making my CSP spend I used the card for EVERYTHING......met the spend quicker than I thought. One is actually surprised when they see the money they are spending every day for day to day living expenses.

i agree as i only use my cards this much for the spending bonuses...but now that i got into it i always pay my bills with my debit card i fgured i should just pay with my cards and get the points and then pay my cards right off since i am technically paying my bills with cash so i can just pay the card then...i know alot of spending i just spent 10k within the last 2 months and my wife couldnt belive it lol

If you can put your rent on the card, that'd probably help you meet the spend! I myself usually only spend ~$500-600 a month on my cards (although I'm well over $1000 this month due to big purchases like fiance's PS4 and he's no longer asking me for rent/etc. money). If I were to apply for a card, I woud do it when I knew I was going to spend the money anyway (like my contacts costs $630 so that would take a dent in the spend and I have to buy them anyway!). You could also try asking your family to pay you cash and you make the purchases on your card for various things.
