Re: Macy's finally showed me some luv
My son is only 5'3 which is my height and his dad is 5'7 so I'm sure he won't grow too much more. He already has short man's complex so I don't even mention anything about height, he swears he's taller than me. Even though my son wears a uniform I should probably hold off on the watch and sock drawer mine for next years clothes and shoes, LOL!

Use that Macy's card and they'll show you lots of luv!
Though I would share my Macy's experience from earlier this week. It was just past my 3 month anniversary date and my account was originally opened with a $600 CL. Over the past 3 months I charged about $650 on this card and PIF immediately once the charge would post. I called and asked the CSR for a CLI. "How much of an increase would you like?" "How much can you give?" I asked her. "Based on what the computer is showing me I can give you $200 increasing you to $800. Is that OK or were you hoping for more?" I didn't want to push it so I responded "Actually I was hoping for at least $1,000." She asked me to hold while she talks to a supervisor and comes back with "I have great news: I can increase you to $1,500!"
Moral of the story: ask for more and they just might give it to you.

Re: Use that Macy's card and they'll show you lots of luv!
Chaotic, that is a good news. I had macy's card for last 2 months which started with $100 CL. I called and said it costs me $10 for gas to go to the gas. She came back and said increased for $200. I'll wait 3 more months and ask for CL again. I do like shopping at Macy's.

Re: Macy's finally showed me some luv
elilow, I don't know how you've been paying, or what options Macy's gives you, but in most cases, if you pay from the CCC's site (rather than from your bank site, for instance), your payment is credited that day. Paying from your checking account site usually results in a several day delay. And of course, snail mail...

Re: Macy's finally showed me some luv
Thanks for the advice haulingupthescore but the funny thing is I did pay on the website. With most credit card companies you can pay on the same day and it'll be posted that day.

Hard to figure how to work with a CCC that does that...
