Macys no longer upgrades to amex?

Ooh I remember that. But that does not apply to Macy's Amex. Only Amex cards issued from centurion bank. I have the Amex green and the delta for that. Both were outstanding last year.

American Express is a federally registered service mark of American Express and is used by Department Stores National Bank pursuant to a license. The Macy's American Express Card program is issued and administered by Department Stores National Bank.

Bummer!!  I just logged into my account and got the same message.  I called customer service and they told me that it was a glitch, and to disregard it.  The only way to get the Macys Amex is to apply in store.  What a way to excite someone and then completely crush them!!!  J/K

Forgot to add that the 'glitch' they claim is very odd, considering oyu wrote your post 4 months ago, and I got that same message today 2-27-16.  You'd think they would have corrected the 'glitch' by now!!
