Hello,
I was casually checking my marvel mastercard online account when I noticed a balance, a balance due and a fraud charge from Amazon for $6.60.
This takes my back to that time in Summer 2018 when a bunch of people got their Marvel accounts re-issued due to mass fraud that hit Synchrony and it was discussed here:

Please let me know if anyone is experiencing fraud on their Marvel or other Sync cards.
Regards,

Oh great...
So far, so good with my accounts. Just had to check PayPal since that one wouldn't have alerted me.

Did they fix it? Because I set those up ages ago and they have never worked and when I called Sync about it, they told me their contract with PayPal is that PayPal only wants alerts to come through their own app (via purchases made through PayPal). Its actually the major reason that card is on the chopping block.
Yep just checked and my alerts are still set. They've never worked, email or text. Marvel works for both with the same settings.

Oh wait thats my rewards lol🥴
Yup. I end up with a negative balance on Amazon and Marvel both because they auto redeem and I don't like Sync accounts posting balances.
Yep, I got nailed again last month with bad charge and also last year. Had a $16 charge from Audible this time (can't remember who it was last time) but both who I never did business with . Had to file report with Synch, who took care of the issue immediately, however resulted in another Marvel card closure and ANOTHER new card number, so now on my reports it shows two Marvels closed for lost/stolen and the new one. BTW, my card is always kept in my safe, used maybe once a year to keep active, so it's not like laying around or anywhere for eyes to see on a normal day. Seems like Marvel card has flaws.
