Hi guys,

I recently applied for three cards and cut one, bringing my total to four.

Visa - US Bank Cash+

Mastercard - Sallie Mae

Amex - BCE

Discover - IT

I got high limits on all cards except for Sallie Mae, which gave me a 2500 limit.

Now I'm probably going to wait a few months before asking Barclays for a CLI, but does anyone have much luck requesting a World Mastercard after getting the 5k+ limit? I want the perks that come with it.

Barclays only lets you keep what you received when you were approved for the card. The only way you could have gotten this would have been to call when you were approved to have them reconsider the approval credit line so that you would receive the 5k.

You have a great line up! Most people really only want the WMC for the pride of it all, and don't actually utilize the attributes to the WMC.

if you want a WMC, call now for a higher CL. it may be treated as a CLI request so be prepared for an additional HP.

Other than that, Barclays may review accounts from time to time to determine eligibility, but such occurances are rare so don't count on it happening.
