Maximum Credit Limit for LOFT Store Card???

My momRequested a Credit Limit Increased for LOVE LOFT store card

got the 7-10 day message

current credit limit was $3150

"We receieved your recent request for an increased credit limit.  Because the LOFT credit card program does not currently offer credit limits higher than your accoun'ts current limit, we are unable to approved your request at the time.  Your credit limit remains $3150."

How high do you need it to be?

When was her las CLI?  It may be that she put through the request too soon.

She wanted has high as she could get.... like 8k with jcrew

But she got other 'denial' letters they all explain its too soon from last CLI... this one said specificalaly the account type reached its maximum as you can see above.

Perhaps it's reached it's maximum for her credit score? Without more information, there's really nothing more to explain it.

Just wondering if anyone out there has a higher limit on LOFT (store card) and whether it was recently increased

She got increases for Pottery Barn (its up to 15K)
and Express and VS is up to 3K

and FRM is 5K

This use to be Express' Max too but I think now it's somewhere in the upper $3k but she very well may be at the max right now.

I posted this before...but i dont think my question was asked properly

Does anyone out there have a limit greater than 3150 on loft store card?

Also, do they PC to Mastercard... or does it open a whole new account?

in there application for MC version... it says they will close and open new account and transfer any balances

Anyone have first hand experience
