Just curious about why my Military Star Card ($7800 CL) isn't reporting to ANY of the CRAs despite my having had it approved in September? Does the fact I've only used it one time for a very small ($10) purchase or does AAFES just not report to the CRAs unless it's a "baddie"? TIA -
Congrats on the CL, mind is just 3500. Military Star do report to all 3CRAs. I would say it might not worth it to report a $10 charge on your card. Did you pay in advance or wait until the statement post to your account?
Regardless of how much you charge to it, it should be reported to all three of the major credit reporting agencies even if it has a $0 balance every month. How many statements have closed since you opened the card?

Thanks. I paid on-time for that single charge.
If your credit profile would be helped more by a card with a large credit line appearing on your reports (by lowering utilization for example) than it would be hurt by a new credit line appearing on your reports, I'd call them and ask about the issue. If the new credit line would hurt worse than the utilization, I'd either wait until it eventually shows up or give them a call once the card has had time to age and not ding your credit scores.
