Do you know your AAoA?
Do you have all three of your FICO scores....
That said.. How *I'd do it.....
I'd go for the Chase card first... barring I have at least a year or more of AAoA ....
Id also check to see if i have a prequalify/preapproval on Chase's site....
Preapproval... id go for it..
None... id probably wait a bit and just go for the Cap One
Then next id try for a Cap One preapproval....
When you actually apply, its going to count as 3 HPs... BTW chase doesnt use HPs to count 5/24 ... just TLs and most TLs other than CCs are excluded...
Cap One isnt as inquiry or TL sensitive as Chase...
Preapproval.. id go for it... ....
May still go for it even without.. its Cap One...
Take a bit from everyones advice.. And remember its still YMMV
