Missing Gold card

As some of you may already know that i applied twice in 2 months time, most recent being Sunday 15th for the AMEX gold card but was denied on both occasions. I was just on the AMEX site paying some money on my Surpass card when i decided to check preapprovals, not that i was going to apply anyway however, i noticed the Gold card is no longer in the list of browse all AMEX cards in my account. Is it because i applied twice and was rejected or is there a different issue? I see the green card as one of my pre-qualified cards which i dont want anyway.

It'll probably come back. Sometimes the HH Surpass disappears from my list, and then comes back. It probably happens with other cards, but that's the only one that I notice ever missing because I check it now and then for an upgrade offer.

Amex system can be interesting sometimes. I never applied for the Platinum card in the past yet it never showed in my list of card...and I've been a customer for many years.

Even with my recent Platinum approval, I had to apply without being logged in because the card just doesn't show.

Another interesting twist is that folks can refer me to the card and it'll show through their link but never with just a regular login has the Platinum card ever been a card I could choose from.
