Mortage and higher end credit cards

Might be a goofy question but does having a new mortage one is able to get higher end credit cards?

Having a mortgage can improve your credit mix and thus your credit score, but it doesn't magically unlock premium credit card offers. Besides, your score might be temporarily depressed right after getting a mortgage, so it's good to wait a few months.

Nope.  Credit history and income and good DTI are the main factors.  Sure a mortgage can help indirectly in the credit mix but certainly not needed for good cards or limits
