Mortgage with Chase + credit card request = Dangerous?

Long story short: I have been wanting to apply for a CFU for a while but I was already at 5/24 and knew I would buy a house sometime soon, so I held off. I got a mortgage through Chase for a house that is closing next week, and in April I’m down to 4/24, so technically I can apply to the CFU again. I know Chase is very sensitive with this kind of things: do you thing there’s a chance of me getting flagged if I apply for a credit card the week after closing on my house? I thought of asking my loan officer but i’m Sure he’ll say it’s fine.

Thank you.

I wouldn't sweat it. Chase will sell your loan off in less than a year.
Chase initially financed my current home and sold the loan 11 months in.

Non-issue: spending will often ramp up for a period of time after purchasing a house, CFU probably is near auto-approve with Chase being aware of the likely new spending and wanting to catch a slice of it.

Actually I applied for two Chase cards in the month after I closed a mortgage with them: CSP and IHG at the time, both approved and with vastly increased limits compared to my prior Chase card. 22K each, and my highest Chase limit was I think 3k then on a Freedom and 9k non-Chase.
