Hey folks, I'm gonna go straight to the point.
Can one have multiple Citi Custom Cash card? I was looking for some data points but couldn't find anything. Also, is it even possible to have multiple Citi DC cards? I already have a Citi DC and a Citi Custom Cash but I have a couple Citi cards with AFs that will be hitting by the end of the month and later this year so I am trying to work a strategy here.
Thanks!
My understanding is that you can have multiple Double Cash products. As far as Custom Cash, I haven't come across anyone here posting such DPs, but potentially there may be folks that have 2 of them. The only situation that you might run into is the eligibility of any products you currently have and whether the system may or may not allow a PC to Custom Cash, either because you already have the product or the system won't allow the PC.
You'll have to test the waters to confirm whether you're successful in doing so and post your results. Otherwise, you can PC (or downgrade) to other Citi cards that may not have AFs.
simple answer is NO
You did not look hard enough
here is screenshot from their website
I was approved for Custom Cash and I asked about PC'ing double cash to another Custom Cash (prior to all restrictions).
Anyway, I got a chunky Nope, followed by double Nah, and one firm No just in case it wasn't clear.

A little harsh, no @creditfan?
Perhaps the OP wasn't aware of such information, but just to clear the air, do you know for sure that it's 100% not possible? I'd like to see if you have some stats to back it up.
Two scenarios: (1) when things became restrictive to PC into Custom Cash, two of my accounts allowed the possibility and that's after being approved straight out for the card. (2) Other folks also reported their experiences in the Custom Cash mega thread (and separate threads) where they could PC into Custom Cash (not from Double Cash though) and still apply for it. They may not be eligible for the SUB, but the system would allow them to proceed.
Another thing to keep in mind, there have been several instances where Citi's systems have been quirky by allowing some customer profiles to do certain things where others won't get the same results. So, despite the fine print, it may be possible. The OP will have to try it out to see if it works.

Thanks MOD, that's what I was thinking. I had read the website but as it was mentioned before, Citi's system is kinda quirky so I was wondering if people had had any luck recently going through with that product change. I know some people who were able to PC from the DC so I was just wondering if we had any new data. The screenshot does not bother me at all, it is what it is haha
Thanks anyway, folks!
Data points are welcome around these parts @Anonymous. I haven't tried a PC recently because I didn't see the need for 2 Custom Cash account for my needs. But, in your situation, it won't hurt to try. Just let us know or update your thread with the results.
Out of curiosity, which card(s) were you potentially thinking of doing the PC from? When I tried, it allowed me to do it from either the Rewards+ and Diamond Preferred. Of course, I didn't go through with it, but it was interesting to see which products it allowed my specific Citi profile to change things up. The agent informed me that I wouldn't be eligible for the SUB, which I expected.

I would be product changing first the Citi AA Executive because the AF hits on Feb 22nd and then the Citi Premier down the road. I know I won't be eligible for the SUB if they allow my PC to go through. I currently have 5 Citi cards which would also include, like I said, the Citi DC, the Custom Cash and the MileUp which was a result of when I downgraded my old Citi AA Platinum.
I mean, I will have to call Citi anyway to downgrade these cards to something, haha! I will keep you guys posted anyway. If they allow me to have two DCs, for whatever reason, I will probably cancel the one I currently have as the CL is only $3.6k and then PC the AA Executive to a DC as that one has a $10k CL.

Ah gotcha.
I would definitely try your MileUp card first to test and see whether the PC to Custom Cash is possible, if not, then try your AA Executive and then TY Premier. They will definitely tell you what eligible products are available, if anything.
You can definitely try whichever strategy works best for you and I'd be curious to see what results you'd get. Worse case scenario, you can always downgrade to other products like MileUp (you can have multiple), Rewards+, Diamond Preferred or whatever suits your needs.
If people had 2 CCC cards, lol, this forum would be lit with people enjoying 2 5% fillers. For some of us getting just one is hard enough. Ive apped for it out of curiosity and denied. Yet Citi currently offers me a pc to it haha.
