Multiple Citi DC pre-approvals

Anyone else getting a constant flow of Citi DC pre-approval letters?

I got two in 1 week last week, then another today. Is this a 'normal' thing that happens?

I already had one. I then took another a month or so later for the BT offer.

Re: Multiple Citi DC pre-approvals

Citi is spamming me with pre-approvals. It started late summer with the DC (which I had before but closed in August). Then the Diamond Preferred, Simplicity, TYP Preferred, and the AA Platinum. Basically they sent me offers for almost their entire portfolio. Unfortunately none of their products interest me.

Very common.  They went all crazy with their offer change, and started offering 0% for BTs only.  Which in a way I guess is good since a 2% card should be used long term to PIF most of the time???

I found that the more often I checked online for offers the more mailers came, and the longer I waited (about 2 months) the terms just got better and better. Mail offer were always better than online offers.

Started out in 2015 getting DP 0 for 12 months then their highest rate. Then 0 for 18 months then 19.99.  Then the dc rolled in 0 for 12 months then 20.xx...Online hit or miss. For a while many couldn't get any page to generate online.  That was when citi had that weird login error where you had to always look at your account through incognito browser. So annoying.  Anyway one day the mail offer came 0% for 18 months then 13.99% which was a huge change so I applied!  And so glad I did!

I just don't understand why some folks are able to reduce their purchase APRs with citi even if they are in an intro period that covers purchases, and others are not. I tried, and was told to wait until my 18 months are up.
