Re: My Spree

Congrats on all the approvals. I am surprised on Barclays approval. Many members have mentioned them to be sensitive to HP's. You have great cards.

Re: My Spree

Did you get the Emigrant Direct card? Which one did you apply for (there are only 2 versions)?

I didnt think 1.5% cash back was worth an annual fee, so I choose the no fee 1.25% cash back version.

Re: My Spree

Well I just got a letter in the mail and I was accepted for the Emigrant Direct card with a limit of $4,500! Woohoo! This means that I was accepted for all the cards I applied for in my spree (: Now I will be gardening, and hopefully now that I have some high CL cards, future cards (I'm talking 6 months to a year from now) will start me out high instead of some lame $1,000 limit. I got the Emigrant Direct card without an annual fee, I just wanted the $25 sign-up bonus. Totally worth the temporary credit hit lol.

Also, Emigrant Direct told me my Equifax score was 730 at the time applying for their card. Just writing this incase it helps anyone out (maybe someone who knows their credit score and wants to know if they would be able to get approved for a certain card). I know my score was 750 about a year ago, so it should have been higher than that right before I started my spree because I didn't apply for any new credit in that time, nor did I have any late payments. I estimate my score was high 700s before my spree and 730 after the spree. Pretty significant decline, but I DID apply for a lot of new cards, in a small window of time.
