NFCU Flagship and Amazon Prime reimbursement time frame?

I know I have seen this in other threads but when prime is charged which mine was today to my Flagship card what is turn around time approximately on it being credited to card?  Being should I just pay it when it posts and use a statement credit or is it within 5ish days type of thing?  Any recent experience.  Last year it happened and likely year before just cant remember the time frame.  Thanks all.

My last Prime payment was last on 12/2025 - credit came through a day or two after statement close in 01/2026. I don't carry a balance and didn't need to make the payment for it at all.

IIRC the last two years have been the same - the only different DP I have is that my GE credit came days after the purchase posting.

This is only my first year experience with the credit, but it was at approximately 10 days from the payment.

Thank you all!  looking for another cheap year of amazon prime!  Funny story they do drone delivery in my neighborhood now in FL for some packages.  Still obviously not perfected as live on a lake and drone dropped it off two house down in back yards and dropped it in the lake a few feet from shore / back yard of persons house.. ooops.  Kinda creepy as they are pretty good size drones and hear them in my area alot now doing deliveries.  Not too thrilled personally about that.

For what it's worth last year they also issued the Amazon credit on March 3.

I noticed that as well! 🤔

I have no idea what drives the category NFCU displays by the transaction (apparently not MCC).  I know the category can be manually changed by the customer, but I don't bother since it doesn't impact rewards or anything else. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
