To answer your question, there is no specific score, NFCU is lenient and approves all kinds of scores from what I have seen, I would say anything above a 600 with them.
I just checked the site and still says review in process. Also no response from them on the status message I sent. I did however get a response on a different message concerning a joint owner on my certificate account. So I am thinking their underwriters are extremely backed up. This is unusal for them.
Also I have experienced them being rude in the last few days, I opt in to take the survey, I am sure the reps are scored somehow on those.

DENIED.
Got this message:
Your application for a goRewards MasterCard account has been disapproved. A letter of explanation has been mailed to your address on file. Please allow seven to ten days for delivery.
I just called them and the rep would not tell me anything again with an attitude. I have had enough! I asked for a supervisor who says in their system the card shows still in review. She did not understand why I got a message saying it was disapproved. She is calling over to U/W now to check on it.
Ok, here is the deal:
Called and spoke with a Lending supervisor. She said that when they approve a first card, they usually approve the most they can. Second cards in a short period of time, no go. In my case she said nothing negative, she said the fact I had NO CC debt was bad because I can still go spend on those cards. "Available debt" she says I have too much other available credit. She suggested closing other accounts. She said they have "guidelines" on situations that determine what limit they give and every underwriter will be the same.
Seeing how I have this available debt, I am probably not going to app for NavCheck (this might screw me later) I have no intent on using it.
She offered to move $1k from Cash Rewards (now $10k) to the GoRewards (now $1k). I do not care because I will use that one PIF and keep charging till I reach the $1500 spend requirement. She said I could close it and move it back, but more than likely I will CLI later.
On another note, I got her to FedEx the card for free. She was apologatic and stated they are bound by the guidelines of the credit union and can be fired for going outside those guidelines.
What should I do now? Let my EQ cool off a while and try for a CLI at my 6 month for Cash Rewards and 3 month for this new account?
I think I am going to axe Barclay, I am going to call them see if they can offer me anything APR reduction or something.
