NFCU New Account Question

I'm planning on opening an account with NFCU next week after closing on a house. My son is currently active duty army. What info is NFCU going to need to verify that? I'm assuming they aren't just going to take my word for it.

I would call them in case they need a DD214 Showing he is in service branch. For the record others on myfico have called gave there relatives name and what branch was enough to start the process.

if he is a member, then you just use his member id on your application.... if he is not a member then yes more documents as other posted might be needed.
