And, how long after opening a checking account would you guys suggest applying for a cc through NFCU?

AR is an Account review and most people open their cc as soon as they are a member ! You get an AR every 60 days , I would recommend you to read the BIG Navy Federal CLI guide on here , very useful info .just about everything you need to know about Navy Fed CC and CLOC and others experiences.

Making sure I'm understanding this correctly. I called Nfcu today to check on when our first statement will cut. That's on the 21st. A new AR will be done around that time, right? Which means our third statement will be Feb 21 with an AR around then. So we should ask for a CLI in early March. Or am I confused?
