NFCU Secured Question

I am considering adding the NFCU Secured credit card.

Lets say I only start with an initial deposit of $500, is there an availbility to increase the secured limit after openning the account?

Similiar to how Capital One Secured Cards works? Or is the option of adding secured funds to the credit line not available?

Thanks in advance

Re: NFCU Secured Question

There is an option to add more to the limit. I would caution you to add more after opeing the card as those are the only people we have ssen take longer to graduate than 13 statements.

edit: have you tried to apply for an unsecured card with NFCU?

ut.Re: NFCU Secured Question

ok, thanks for the input.

I have applied recently, declined.

I just had two PR's for Fed tax liens addeded in Decemeber that dropped more score considerably unfortinatley. 518!!! Ugh

My decline stated, "My credit profile does not meet the minimum requirements....."

Was expecting the decline though, but gave it a shot for the hell of it.
