Happy holidays all
Curious if anyone has insight into how much NFCU points can be worth. I have no cards with them and have tried to dig into T&Cs but couldn't locate.
If they're 1cpp does that make NFCU 3% on all travel and 2% for everything else?
I see the flagship mentioned a few times on this forum but curious what the prevailing opinion is.
Cheers
Yes, NFCU points are 1 point = 1 cent. The points are available to be redeemed as cash into your required savings account, checking account, statement credit, or gift cards/merchandise. The More Rewards card is another good card that offers 3% on gas, groceries, and dining.
It is recommended to get another besides the Flagship as your first NFCU card, as the underwriting is a little more difficult to get approved for without history with them. IDK what your other cards are, but the More Rewards Card + the Flagship insures 3% on a lot of categories and 2% on everything else.
You can apply for your 2nd NFCU card at 91 days and 3 full statements.
The Flagship gives the most value between March and July because they usually offer a $500 sign up bonus during those months.

That's great insight thanks! Not bad for a purely CB game. I like it.

Great explanation of NFCU cards/points! I'm hoping they bring back the $500 SUB for the Flagship this spring! I'll definitely be apping for it if so!
