Generally Navy Fed is a TU hp for membership. EQ for credit products. They will pull TU for cc if EQ is unavailable. They will only pull EQ for loan products.

Re: Navy FCU Question

I started with the cashrewards card @ $5k back when I had barely 600 scores, and my report was still a hot mess of semi paid collections, judgements, etc. At that time they gave me a LOC as well but only $500. A year later they auto-cli'd my CC to $8.5k. I had forgotten about asking for CLI as I was focused on cleaning up my report. 2 months or so after the CC auto-cli, I asked for a CC CLI to $25k & they countered with $19k. I then asked for a CLI on my LOC & they bumped it to $15k from 500. NFCU is easily the greatest lender on the planet & I dont doubt they will continue to be my highest lender going forward.

Re: Navy FCU Question

So...declined for the Visa with my 690 Transunion. No lates or negatives last 18 months. Before that did loan modification on rental home, so almost forced into lates to do the modification. DTI great income great.  Never late on current mortgage have had for 4 years. Wrote explanation message online, still turned down. Don't get it. Went to local credit union here, not even member to get auto loan, approved for $45k and they offered 10k credit card without me requesting...confused.

Re: Navy FCU Question

Sounds like the car might have put them on the edge then. Any lates with it I know you said your mortgage wasn't? How long ago was the $10k prequel with the car loan? What visa card was it for? nRewards? Sig? Cash Rewards? If I can remember right I started at out with the nRewards card and then ultimately PC'd it to the Visa Signature. Picked up the cash rewards card somewhere along the way.  And sorry if I missed it, but how long have you been with NFCU?

Re: Navy FCU Question

Navy fed gave me a 15,900 limit when my eq was 668. I thought they must have pulled my tu since it was 700+ with the limit they gave me. But, I just got the letter in the mail stating what my eq sc was.
