Thanks for starting this thread, will be interesting to see what rate they'll be offering.  Guessing it'll be at least 4.9% this year....

Re: Navy Federal 2024 Balance Transfer Offers

Same here. It would help me out a lot if I get an offer. My current Discover balance transfer time runs out in April.

Re: Navy Federal 2024 Balance Transfer Offers

It's funny, I saw this thread this am before I was doing my daily checking account reconciliation (the vast majority of my banking is at NFCU).  I had to transfer some funds to another bank and saw the option to do a CC balance transfer.   Intrigued, once I completed my regular transactions, decided to move a small amount (less than $2K) from my Apple Card to my NFCU Amex (taking advantage of the lower rate).   Went through it all, then go the "we can't process your request at this time, please contact NFCU".   I was too busy today, but will be calling tomorrow to inquire.   I don't care about special rates or anything, but the 14.5% APR for my AMEX is much better than the 24% GS is offering.

Will report back on what I find out.

Curious - what was the 2023 BT offer that NFCU was offering?

Re: Navy Federal 2024 Balance Transfer Offers

Just to be clear, I wasn't using a SUB or special offer.   Just wanted to transfer from 2 higher interest cards to one of my NFCU cards which has a much lower interest rate.

I called today and got it done over the phone.   I was told that if everything isn't perfect doing it online, that it sometimes rejects things, and apparently that's what happened with me.   There was a lockbox # before the PO Box that I didn't enter, and that was enough for it to be rejected.

Hope this helps.

In prior years NFCU offered a 0% BT offer with 0% fees but the 2023 offer I believe was 2.9% with 0% BT fees.

Re: Navy Federal 2024 Balance Transfer Offers

received this offer this evening, first since 2020 I believe.  will not be able to take advantage of it.

unfortunate because the offer is for my More Rewards Amex which is my most used card (gas & groceries).

platinum has been basically useless, spend maybe $20 yearly just to keep it open.

Curious if anyone else got such an offer? I have been with NFCU for a few years now and never got a BT offer.

I just emailed them after seeing this post to see if maybe I have such an offer and I am unaware of it. Smiley Happy
