Hey Guys, just signed up as a member of NFCU a few days ago, got the mobile app for checking and savings. The last couple of days when I open the app get a pop at the bottom of page about the Amex go rewards card with a bonus of 10,000 points that it expires June 30th. I did the prequalify tool and it said that I prequalify for all their cards, but a couple of people said that's it's unreliable. My trans union fico 8 score is 780 and fico 9 is 785. I love the
input from you guys!! Thanks so much!!
That offer is on the bottom left of the mobile app BEFORE I enter my passcode so I don't think it's a personal offer. It's more an FYI "look what we are offering folks in June" i.e. the extra 10,000 bonus points.

Yup, same here. Plus, I already have the More Rewards.
OP - this is simply advertising and not indicative of a targeted offer.

The pre qual is not solid at all. I got that from a customer service Rep. from Navy Fed. But with your scores you would probably get a card. For how much that's the real question. They may start you out low since you are new. I got my first Navy one week after I opened the account in 2017 and they gave me 23K! I don't think they are giving out large CL like that anymore or at least I have not seen any recently.

Maybe not initially but the big ones are still there. My first was $1k in December 2020. Four months later my second was approved at $25k. My TU09 was 750-760 at that time.
NFCU has been really good to their loyal customers.
in Aug 2020 - I opened an account with them, and applied for their first cash reward. The SCL = $500, APR 18% - very low and max APR FICO9 - 708. 90/1 - CLI to $2,500, CL 183 days = $4,500. Then in 1 year request reduction APR got 9.69% their lowest advertise, and last CLI to $10k.
In Oct 2021 - Applied Flagship - SCL $10k APR 18%, 90/1 - CLI to $14k, 1 year reduction APR to 9.99%, just had another CLI to $20k
In Jul 2021 - Applied Their AMEX More Rewards (FICO9 798) - SCL $20k. Dec 2021 - CLI to $25k
They are very accomodating.
