Hi I am new here and searched Navy Federal and got some great info. My question is how long does it have to be before hitting the credit limit increase button on the account? I applied and got approved for 7k thinking they were going to pull only Equifax which is a 778. Instead, they pulled Transunion which was a 702. They gave me a lower credit line and higher interest rate.
So I froze my Transunion file and wanted to click the credit limit increase button thinking they would pull the Equifax score and auto approve it for a higher amount. Do I have to use the card or have it open for a month or 2? I just got the card a couple weeks ago and havent used it yet. Would it hurt if I clicked it this soon?
Thanx for the help. Love Navy Fed

Generally you should wait util after your 3rd statement before seeking a CLI. CreditAddict is a poster here who is very familiar with NFCU and their CLI process and has made a very helpful thread that will answer a lot of your questions about NFCU CLIs. It's a very long thread but the first few pages can be very useful.
