I'm considering closing my Capital One Secured and Credit One. I tried calling Capital One to see if I could convert it to a different card and it's not eligible. I opened it when I started to rebuild my credit profile. Credit One is my oldest credit card and I don't use it very much, it's a sub prime card. My scores are in great shape and I don't want them to drop because of closing these cards. I'll take any advice on keeping them or closing them?
If you utilization is in order and you dont need their CL boost then by all means close them. Closed accounts remain on file for up to 10 years.

I'll jump on this bandwagon. Close away! Good luck and congrats on boosting your credit!
