Need Advice!!

Hello all, today I received a MyFico alert saying that I owed $xx,xxx on a credit card from Chase ending in 4 digits that I've never seen in my life...I called Chase fraud and they said they have no idea where this is coming from as no accounts ending in those last 4 are linked to my name. What do I do? They advised me to call MyFico or dispute it through the CB's.

You will need to dispute it with the credit bureaus so they can investigate and remove the account. You can dispute all 3 via mail or online by going to their websites.

Most likely a phishing scam unless its on your actual report. Alerts are prime email phishing material.

I received a similar phishing scam for paypal a while back saying my account was locked. It took me to a site that looked just like the PP login but did not show the secure green browser icon.
