I acquired the following cards in January 2011:
Amex Zync
US Bank Flexperks select rewards
Chase Freedom
I already had:
DCU visa 2500 CL since jan 2010
Cap1 2250 CL since march 2010
BofA secured 500 CL since march 2010
JCP/GEMB 1800 CL since march 2010
Cap 1 750 CL since jun 2010 (I closed it this month)
Now, my next target is to get the following cards by end of this year
Chase BA (50k miles)
CIti AA (75k miles)
I won't take them if the miles offer is gone by then.
Please advice what am I supposed to do now?
Just sit back and do gardening?
With 7 cards, how many should I allow to have balance?
Looking for expert advice from seasoned gardeners out here in the FICO farmland.
Let 1-3 have a balance. Getting a second chase card the same year as your first may be tricky...

How bout if I apply for citi AA arnd september this year chase BA arnd jan next year?
Two Chase cards in the same period of time is tough. I did find it easy though to get them to give me a CLI very quickly though.

Even 1 year apart will be too difficult? I dont need the CL, I need BA miles

Nah, dun worry. I am not looking for credit. All I want is those air miles.
I would wait till March 2012 to go with Chase for a second card.

Should be good. Can I still take Citi AA in August this year?
