Need New Tires... Low Credit Score Where to go
My Friend has a scredit score of 600-630 range
she has a few charged off accounts
but she has been rebuilding the past year...
capital one unsecured card
credit one card
merrick bank card
tons of comenity cards
She has tried walmart and macys and got declined over the summer... her scores have not changed much
any car tire financing that are easy to get? She would like 6 months no interest
I know car care one but she canbt seem to get GE/sync to crack
Firestone is notoriously easy to get approved there. They usually give s astarting CL of $1200 - $1400. Let me know if it works for your friend.
I agree with the Firestone way to go. My score is in the 630 range and I got instantly approved for $1000. Based on everything I read this is her best bet. I believe it was a TU pull for me as well if that helps. Good luck!

Did you apply online or in-store
Also, is it just Firestone?
or all the cards CFNA offers?

Online...Doesn't seem to make a diff with this one. It is backed by CFNA
Firestone started me at $900 and kicked me up to $2200 after a few months (might have been 3 or 4, don't really remember) and that was a couple of years ago - since then, no increase of CL, even when reqursted. Since I use this account about once a year for oil changes or tires or brakes, the CL is no big deal - 6 months same as cash is what this card is all about.

Les Schwab is also easy to get (see my sig, don't even have car anymore, but they are still open). I only wanted the limit for repairs at the time, and they offered 0% over few months. My scores would have been less than hers.
+1
Les Schwab is fantastic for service, so if you live in the West, worth looking into. I don't have their credit products, but just the regular store experience is a positive point.
