So I just moved $10,000 into UNIFY. I already have a $500 Secured Visa through UNIFY. My goal was to open a $10,000 Cash Secured Loan. Then take $9,500 out of the loan and add it into my Visa -- giving me a $10,000 Installment and a $10,000 Visa.
UNIFY informed me you can only borrow against a MATURED CD -- not a Savings OR UNmatured CD. So that would take 3-6 Months to Mature it!
I'm wanting to open this $10,000 Loan somewhere that it would COUNT. A Bank or CU that would actually consider it on my future requests. You know, a FI that actually considers a RELATIONSHIP and not JUST a score. So I can actually build a strong relationship AND get my scores up enough to secure USDA Home Remodel funding simultaneously!
So which Bank or CU GREATLY appreciates a Relationship?
I thought BancFirst, but I'm not sure.
@User1109519 I believe its in your best interest to get with a credit union. Navy has been mentioned and it's a great CU for rebuilders (if you have access to membership).
You might also want to consider checking out a local credit union as it's always nice to have nearby branches where you can seek assistance face to face (or mask to mask these days).
Out of the larger banks, Bank of America and US Bank are known to factor in banking relationships. If you get their cards, you can definitely grow them without getting into their banking side though.
If you have deep pockets, and are willing to keep those funds with 1 FI, there are also those services like Chase Private Client ect...
Good luck!
