Re: Need card advice

I would try the Discover It. I only had Cap1 and CreditOne when I got approved. It was $1000 to start, but it can grow. I think your scores are better than mine were when I got approved a couple of years ago. Good luck!

Re: Need card advice

@Bella's advice is solid. You might also want to look at your spending. Mostly groceries and gas? Try for the Amex Blue Cash Everyday, they usually have a SUB of $150 bonus when you spend $1000 in 3 months, and are 3% cashback on groceries for $6K spend max a year, and 2% at gas stations with no cap.

Re: Need card advice

I think both Discover and AmEx have prequalification pages. No HP for those. If you get a offer with a single defined interest rate, it is usually a solid offer.

Re: Need card advice

check cap one prequal.

if you are prequal for QS and your score is much better than when you opened old cap one accts, you will get a higher limit on new card.

I went from $3k SL on a card to $10k SL on a card to $30k SL on a card all from Cap One within 4 years.

Your old cards may never get better, but if your profile improves, so will your new accounts.

Rebuild started in 2014  -  $100k unsecured credit in 2017  -  $500k unsecured credit in 2024.
