My first post here, and lots of good information. I filed for BK back in Jan of 2007 and was discharged April of 2007. My CS's are EX-603, EQ-615, and TR-662. I applied for the US Airways CC and was turned down and the reasons were as states-Proportion of balances to credit limits is too high on bank revolving or other revolving accounts, 2-Time since delinquicy is too recent or unknown, 3-Number of accounts with delinquincy. I do not understand any of this, for 1 I only have 1 revolving account which is a secured card with orchard with a $200.00 limit(got this after my BK discharge to rebuild credit), 2nd, my CR does not show any accounts that are deliquent(could this mean accounts that have been delinquent?). I tried calling barclays, but all i get is a recording, no live people to speak with unless you have an account with them. I dont know what else to do here, I have cleaned up my CR the best as I can. I know when I filed BK, my lawyer told me not to pay on anything and now all the accounts that i didnt pay while in BK are showing as being paid late. I do not want to go and apply for a bunch of credit cards to find out that I am denied and put more inq on my report, I am looking for a nonsecured CC with a reasonable CL, say 500.00 to 1000.00. I am tired of gettin shot down, any help would be greatly appreciated.
