How long ago did you apply?  I am thinking that I will call them tomorrow if I do not hear back from them by then, as I believe that new apps department might be closed for the holidays??? Anyone know if you can backdoor them once you get approved to negoiate a higher CL if its too low???  Thanks!

I applied on December 30th.  Still waiting.  Called them and now they say "being processed as normal"

I just talked with them on the phone and apparently, they need to verify my identity due to having an active duty alert on my profile.  I didnt know this would be an issue as I am a current gold card holder

APPROVED!

I must say that persistence does prevail!  I wasn't going to take "no" for an answer and decided to call them back!  Got a gentleman on the phone that was able to complete the application since I am a current card member. 

APR: 0% for first 6 months and then 17.24% afterward!  (no problem here as I will PIF)

Limit:  $9,000!

They matched my highest limit and I couldn't be happier.  As soon as my card arrives I will be switching over all my auto-pay options online!  Whoohooo!
