Never received card....yet never received denial??

I applied for a Victoria's Secret card with my debit card at the Vicy's I work at. I applied because the card would benefit me with work clothes plus I use my discount and everything and put it on the card. Well anyways I applied in May and I never received a denial letter. I used my debit card to apply and I was told I was denied but I never received a letter. What does this mean? I tried calling a number but couldnt get ahold of anyone. Has this ever happened to anyone else with another CC.

If you got denied and never received a letter it's possible they don't send denial letters, though I've never seen that before (They always say they'll let you know). Either way, I wouldn't take the fact you didn't get a denial letter to mean that you were actually approved.

If you were approved and didn't get a letter with the card, THAT would be cause for concern. I don't know what happened, but you shouldn't worry about it. Check the backdoor number thread and try to get in touch with the card issuer for a recon if you really want the card.
