ok so i got approved last week for a zync.
My plans are to purchase a new car in october of this year. i know that a new loan will make my score drop a bit.
Do you guys think this is enough for AMEX to drop me ?

No, it shouldn't be an issue. If you maxed out all your cards, got hit with collections & judgements, and/or filed BK then AMEX would probably take AA.

You shouldn't have any problems as long as you don't buy a car that substantially affects your ability to pay Amex because the note is so high...

Or you don't buy the car with the Amex!
/ducks.
Seriously, it's a non-issue: pay cash or finance the vehicle and you'll be fine.

LOL, dont' buy a car with Amex, it is probably not a good idea seeing as it can lead to FR. and don't use the check spending ability button to test it out to see if you would be able to buy the car with amex
