BOA:  Trouble, they took the heat in the 2009 BK them and MBNA - You may have heard, they needed to be bailed out..  ;-)

1st Choices:   Citi Primier, ChaseSP, AE ED (to get back in)

Desires:  No FTF -

Concerns:  Chase closures, Finicky USB, scared Barclaycards

Alts:  UBER- We eat & Drinks a bit - 4% Food/Bev  No FTF & some trick travel features - But its Barclay and I spend wierd

And the Crowd nominees for TBD #1 & #2 are????    All advice and ideas are welcome

Re: New Apps to consider

I would go for the Amex ED and the Citi Premier. I didn’t see a specific prequal for the Premier, but with all those other prequals I would think you’d be okay. The ED is probably the safest bet of the bunch though. Plus you want to get back in with Amex and who can blame you lol

Good luck!

Discover It: 26.5k
Amex Cash Magnet: 24.4k
Fidelity Visa: 21.5k
Apple Card: 13k
CapOne Venture X: 10k

I believe they both pull EX, if so... I wonder if one wants to be first...

Citi is like Chase... they always want to be first w/ their restrictions on INQ's / Accounts.

"Double cash & Gold"

Good combo, but 2% gets beat by Navy3%,   Citi Premier rolls 3%gas + 2% food  and UBER gets 4% food & Bev and NO AF

The Gold is a contender, but for the 250AF hurts it, I know the offsets that get it close, but its also a charge card.  Almost time for a charge, not just yet...   THe AE ED gets me set up for Gold or Plat when the time is right.

Re: New Apps to consider

 Good luck whatever you decide.

Here is a link if you want to save $39/year by product changing from QS1 to no AF QS.

Amex won't care about any Citi daliances, she just wants to be paid.

Thanks, this has been handy in the past but I recently turned 1 QS1 into the Venture1 and got a CLI ($250) on the other rendering them both inelegible for anything until November sometime (6 months)

Cap One froze me pretty good with those two virtually meaningless actions.  All I want from Cap one is one card, I have three cap1 serviced or owned cards...  closing the Cabelas as soon as TBD get up and running.  That leaves 2, I just dont want to be forced into a new app for a non bucketed QS - Hopefully the remaining 2 cards morph somehow into a QS in November
