So I know Chase has a new policy where you can't have more than 5 new accounts within a 2 year span to get a Chase card (Freedom, CSP, Slate, Ink, etc). But do they also have this same rule for CLIs on those products? Thanks!
I doubt the rule applies to CLIs, but as a rule, they are stingy with CLIs anyway and require a HP so probably not worth going for it anyway.
Crap. I already requested it and took the HP. They said I'll get a letter in 7-10 days. Assuming that is a denial. Should I call recon or wait?
Generally with Chase it seems best to just wait and let things process in most cases. Good luck.
I'm starting to hate them lol
I got my CSP and Freedom back in November. I put so much spend to reach the bonus on my CSP, micromanaged it always PIF before the statement cut, only kinda used my Freedom until April I put my moms property tax on it, and carried a balance for the first time ever with a payment of 500 a month. I have had some other purchases on that same card and I'm always carrying a balance on in, same deal 500 a month. They just auto CLI my Freedom from 7.5 to 11.5. 4k. I didn't see that coming. I that my CSP would have found their favor first. But no, I think they are liking seeing a lot of spend.
