Imperfect- Ahh ok! Sorry about the confusion. I had to ask about the legacy thing cause i thought we may have both been there before lol.
So I can't check my free annual credit reports since I did that several months ago but I just noticed something on 2 reports I wanted to try and verify. I did my free trials for transunion and experian and noticed for the only baddie I've ever had that my last payment on the card was may 2009 and then I didn't pay June 09 and so forth. Does that mean my DOFD was June 09 meaning 7 years plus a possible 180 days extra before my midland baddie would fall off completely?
if so I'm assuming that would be June 2016 - Dec 2016?

The DoFD is the 30 day late that leads to the account being COed, it would look something like this in the payment history 30 60 90 120 150 CO CO CO. The FCRA allows negative items to stay on file for up to 7.5 yrs from the reported DoFD thats set by the OC. The CRAs will typically remove the account at the 7 year mark to assure that they stay withing the law.

I had one go 120 120 120, YMMV
Gdale- Yea it shows normal for May 09 which was my last payment and then June 09 it shows the "30" and July "60" and so forth.
main reason I asked is because it seemed like I should just wait for it to drop off if I'm close. It's my only baddie and was such a small/stupid thing from long ago but hate seeing it on reports.

So I think it should fall off around April. I still think you should call the bureaus, TU is right on, ex and eq say May! When they really mean April. ![]()
Imperfect- April sounds good to me! Haha
