I'd like to add on: it needs to be constant, heavy, PIF usage.

I say constant because last month I asked for luv and got $250. I denied it.

This month, I did not put a lot of spend through it and it denied me flat out for any CLI.

Re: New Quicksilver advice?

Use your card for EVERYTHING.

Pay it off WEEKLY.

Keep 1-9% utilization on all other cards.

They will reward you if you are loyal and charge a lot and pay a lot.

You do not have to pay interest for them to treat you well.

See my signature...$0 CL 18 months ago.

Re: New Quicksilver advice?

People here tend to fixate on usage but your credit and income have to support the CLI regardless of usage.

Re: New Quicksilver advice?

After 3 statements I asked for CLI and went from 5k-10k. I had very heavy usage, since it's my daily card and made large payments as well.

Absolutely, but your usage also has support your CLI with Cap One.

Why give a CLI if you don't use the card?

If you are charging large amounts and paying off large amounts, your income is obvious.

Re: New Quicksilver advice?

First question would be whether it is a Quicksilver Visa of Mastercard. They're in different credit tiers and grow differently.
