Thanks - new WF offerings!
Too bad the card doesn't offer anything for AirBNB users.
I have not used VRBO or Expedia...
My Hotels.com Bisa is transitioning to a One Key MC. I'm meh anout it, as there does not seem to be too much difference.
Seems like if you read the fine print you've gotta spend 30k a year to get the 9% on Expedia. Hotels.com and vrbo.
but as an interesting plus there's a "see if you're approved with no impact to your score" button which redirects you to expedias sign in landing page. So I guess you need an Expedia account to check.
Appears to have a check if pre-approval feature as well wonder if any better than pre-qual for normal WF cards which is basically worthless. This is a new offering from them as appears a SP to ones credit vs awful pre-qual tool of theirs for those interested. With that said dont think card is anything special
A Quick Look at the Expedia website says that you can achieve one key platinum status by booking 30 trip items.
a trip item could be a rental car for a day, a hotel night, a vrbo per night, a cabin on a cruise per night, a flight ect.
so I guess if you book a lot of travel thru Expedia you could get platinum status (required for the 9% Expedia/hotels.com/vrbo) without the meeting the 30k yearly spend requirement.
Was Curious and pre-approval actually worked. Pretty low limit considering other cards/profile of 820+ scores. Granted this is first time WF has given me any kinda of offer normally they shut the door on me instantly maybe things have changed since have been overall good for last 10 months or maybe this UW is more lose than their core cards i have tried years back. I turned offer down as no interest in card but I ws bored.

WF = Weirdo Funny ![]()
They cannot introduce any card that can be attractive enough, even with large SUB. Not interested.
Some DP:
They pre-approved my spouse on soft pull but didn't take the card. $4,000 limit.
Me, same income, $9,000 limit. DIdn't take the card.
Oddly, it's me with the lower FICO scores. He has them in the 780s now and mine are in the high 600s and low 700s due to a bankruptcy years ago.
We may consider applying at some point.
We only travel infrequently and usually within our own state, but I've been thinking about a travel card for a while now.
For no annual fee, the basic version of this card doesn't seem to be too bad of a deal.
I have an Autograph card with a $25K limit that started as a $4K Propel in 2019.
Whenever I do the Well's prequalification I always come up empty.
I did get a prequalification for this card. I wonder if this means I would be approved for a different Wells card. I don't think this card would be very helpful for me at this time.
