Nice, though my Elan Max Cash Preferred gives me 5% on those things (if the appropriate categories are selected). But it gives me another option, especially if I use different categories on the CCR and the MCP.

I have internet and utilities as my 5% categories on my MCP; but with phone as an "online shopping" on the CCR, I could pay my cell phone with that. I'll have to see what card I'm using for my phone now.

Looks like they are just sanctioning existing use cases. All of the EV charging systems use the Gas MCC's so Bank of America is just stating that they will not manually exclude those. As for the Internet and Phone expansion that is just them being nice. Personally I do not need it but I will still approve any enhancement that does not take stuff away.
